Haven Marina is celebrating its 10th anniversary on Sunday 8th August and has joined forces with Ipswich Central, Ipswich Borough Council, DanceEast, Town102 and all the other Waterfront businesses to create a real Waterfront celebration. Ipswich is proud to have such a magnificent oasis for residents and visitors to relax in and the Waterfront is key to plans to put Ipswich indelibly on the tourism map.
Along with a boat show, visiting yachts, river cruises, live music, dance classes and entertainment there will be an eclectic market selling a variety of wares including exciting new stalls from Ipswich’s very own town centre Independent Businesses.
The market will run from the covered walkway up to the Jerwood DanceHouse and into the main foyer of the DanceEast building.
All restaurants, bars and shops will be open on the day with street entertainment and music all the way up to Orwell Quay and on the Island.
Activities will be taking place between 10am and 4pm. Parking is available at the Foundation Street Car Park for £1 for the entire day.
